What band and song got you into this music? What year did it happen?
I got given a tape by my now deceased friend when I was 12. It had Guns 'n Roses on it. The first track was Rocket Queen. That was the track that started it for me! It was amazing and I was instantly hooked on guitar music.
I then moved onto Green Day, Megadeth, White Zombie, Metallica, Korn, Sepultura and on it went.

Well i always used to listen to queen when i was little because my parent's liked them. then my brother always used to be like listen to this liten to this. just random rock bands. that was when i was in yr 8........so...................2002 i think?  ? yea and ever since then i've loved the music!! good old family! |

my mum listened to meatloaf and i loved it!! so i went and bought their album on tape. I was about 8, and then I met a friend who was about 14? and i told him i liked meatloaf and he showed me some other bands, like system of a down and metallica, and then i just started talking to people on the internet and they introduced me to some stuff and it carried on from there.

cant remember what year i started likin rock but my brother educated me well. now because my friends like heavier stuff i'm startin to like that too. for example i never liked slipknot but now i do. not all of them but i love their new one. velvet revolver are fuckin ace. dont like guns 'n' roses never have done. first stuff i liked i think was chili peppers and foo fighters. just stuff like that.

well when i was younger i was into music that my father liked ..... like black sabbath such and when we first got cable everything like wow like mtv 2 showed the other side of it ... offspring and blink 182 made me want to form a band and since then never looked back  |

i used to listen to things like maiden and priest back when i was like 5 cos my mum loved em! then i heard ratm in like year 7 so (about 99 - 00) and thought they rulled! so it sorta started from there! then later on i heard reel big fish, blink 182 and nfg, loved them aswell! then sorta grew with it and heard stuff like NIN and Audioslave (pure Ratm copy) i dont really know what i like anymore! not able to clearly define my taste atleast!! it just sorta flows together! i suppsoe i draw influence from rage and reel big fish. i know! strange mix! but oh well! its all good! ;D

well my family have always had an eclectic taste in music which made me do so aswell, i've been listening to queen since i was a baby and have loved it ever since, then when my brother was about 10 he got into rock music and eventually in year 6/7 i got into it too with my best friend (that has gone back to townie) but i adore music, couldnt live without it, i love rock, punk, classical, country, some "pop" and rNb songs rnt too bad- i said SOME!! but like i said i mostly love rock and punk; guns n roses, black sabbath, meatloaf, QUEEN, incubus, blink 182, green day, sum 41 (my first gig) the list goes on and on....
